Blade Runner challenged participants to take the role of a windmill transportation company. Teams had to transport large game pieces across challenging terrain that could cause robots to lose their cargo. Blade Runner allowed teams to cooperate with each other and make difficult transportation tasks quicker by supporting each other. The challenge of Blade Runner was that teams had to either design manipulators that could transport each game piece across the field or teams had to come up with a strategy that only required them to score crucial game pieces.
